Board of Directors
The directors of the Company are:

Mr. Parkes is the Managing Principal of Injaro Investments Limited. Prior to Injaro, Mr. Parkes was a Director at Knox D'Arcy Investment Management, a UK-based fund manager and activist private equity investor. In this role, he managed a £30m portfolio of SMEs and his responsibilities included engaging with senior management to seek actively the improved performance of their businesses.

His previous experience spans consulting and investment banking with firms such as Accenture, Merrill Lynch, UBS and Technoserve, where he advised Ghanaian entrepreneurs on strategy and business development. He has completed transactions ranging in size from US$30m to US$0.6bn and has co-authored a business case that forms part of the Private Equity in Emerging Markets curriculum at the Wharton School.

Mr. Parkes holds a MEng. in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with French (First Class Honours) from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Jerry is a Ghanaian national.  

Mr. Tayoraud is a Principal at Injaro Investments Limited (IIL). Prior to co-founding IIL, Dadié had been an active investor and advisor in agricultural SMEs and was a business development manager at Voodoo Group, a leading communications company in francophone West Africa. His personal investments include a rice and cassava-processing mill in rural Côte d'Ivoire. He has also worked with women cooperatives providing them with basic managerial skills to improve their production yields. As a business development manager, he guided small companies to achieve their growth and expansion goals. This includes defining and executing a US$1m regional rollout for a marketing and communications company spanning several West and Central African countries.

Mr. Tayoraud began his career as Assistant Financial Controller at Hotel Ivories Inter-Continental and was later a business development professional in New York for Henry Schein, a worldwide distributor of medical, dental products and services, and veterinary supplies.

He is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d'Abidjan and holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Dadié is an Ivorian national

Ms. Moreaux has served as an Investment Officer with the Injaro team since 2011. Prior to Injaro, Ms. Moreaux was an Engagement Manager at Booz & Company, a global management consulting firm. Her previous experience involved advising top businesses, governments and organizations in the USA, Middle East and North Africa. She focused on formulating and implementing strategic and operational improvements for clients in the agriculture, health, financial services, public and non-profit sectors.

Ms. Moreaux also worked with Abt Associates, Inc., a socio-economic policy research and consulting firm in Washington, D.C. At Abt, she evaluated health, education and social programs funded by foundations and federal and state governments.

 

Ms. Moreaux graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Grinnell College and the London School of Economics with a BA in Economics and French. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mirabelle is a Ghanaian national.

Ms. Songco is an Investment Officer for Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF). She is primarily responsible for SEDF's Sierra Leone portfolio, as well as its initiatives in mobile banking and other mobile phone-based services.

Prior to joining SEDF, she worked in Reorganization Services with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and as a credit analyst for MBIA Insurance Corp. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English in Ethiopia and as a volunteer with the International Rescue Committee in Guinea.

Ms. Songco has a BA in French and Psychology from the University of California Los Angeles, an MBA in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School, and a Masters of International Affairs in Economic and Political Development from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. She is a CFA charter holder.
 

Ms. Sabula joined AGRA in June 2014 as the Head of Legal. She has extensive experience in providing in-house legal advisory services, structuring and negotiation of corporate finance transactions, drafting and negotiation of complex contractual agreements, advising on governance and regulatory compliance matters and managing an in-house legal function.

Prior to AGRA, Ms. Sabula was the Company Secretary and Senior Legal Manager at KCB Bank with responsibility for the Kenya and Burundi businesses. 


Ms. Sabula holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) Degree from Moi University and a Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mr. Li is the Founder of the CKLB Fiduciary Group. He has over 20 years of experience in Commercial Environment, Corporate & Private Wealth business and Private Equity Fund services.

Mr. Li is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He started his career in the mid 80’s in an accountancy practice and worked in the industry for a number of years in the city of London. He subsequently worked with Ansbacher in Guernsey, a member of the Henry Ansbacher Merchant Banking Group.

A member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, Mr. Li graduated in Business & Finance from the Thames Valley University, London and holds an MBA from the Strathclyde Business School. He is a British and Mauritian citizen.  

 

Mrs. Lai is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.With over 15 years of experience in the financial services, Mrs. Lai has responsibility for CKLB’s Group Operation, which includes Trust and Corporate and Private Equity Fund administration services.

Prior to joining CKLB, Kathleen spent a number of years with the financial services arm of the former Arthur Andersen Representative firm in Mauritius where she was a Senior Manager involved in corporate structuring, management and administration of subsidiaries of international conglomerates.

A member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, Mrs. Lai graduated with an Honors degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
